Sumera is a caring and adaptable educator with eight years of teaching experience in Pakistan and a diverse background as a teaching assistant in the UK since 2016. Her experience in primary education has equipped her with strong skills in communication, flexibility, and patience , and she tailors her approach to meet each child’s unique needs. Sumera’s international experience has fostered cultural awareness and strategies to support diverse learners, while her commitment to modern teaching methods and technology keeps lessons engaging and relevant. Dedicated to ongoing professional growth, she creates a nurturing space where young minds can thrive both academically and personally.

Joanna views teaching as a noble profession, motivated by her desire to inspire young minds and make a meaningful impact on children's lives. Her background in Public Health, after studying Medicine for three years, has equipped her with strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. Following a career break to raise her family, she gained valuable experience volunteering in primary schools and with the Norfolk Reading Project, where she trained in Phonics and Special Educational Needs. Joanna believes in creating a positive learning environment with clear expectations and **child-led behaviour strategies**, fostering responsibility in students. With over a decade of experience working with children in church groups, she is committed to safeguarding and helping students thrive in an ever-changing world.

Otis believes great teachers profoundly impact students' lives, shaping both their academic skills and character. Inspired by my own memorable teachers, he aspires to train as a primary school teacher. His first teaching experience was in Kunming, China, where he taught English at a secondary school. This experience highlighted the importance of inclusion and diversity in education. His undergraduate studies in Environment and Sustainability emphasized the value of early education, particularly through projects like school gardening, which teaches patience and care. From 2016 to 2023, Otis worked as an English literacy specialist in Singapore, focusing on early readers and preparing students for the PSLE. This role allowed me to cultivate empathy, critical thinking, and a love of learning in students, while also managing classroom behavior and assessing progress. His varied teaching experiences have reinforced my commitment to primary education, and I am eager to continue my training to become an effective teacher.

Osayabamwen doesn’t just teach physics; she loves it. Her lifelong interest in the subject aligns with her fascination with the natural world and its underlying rules. Being a physics teacher allows her to explain complex phenomena logically and inspiringly. From a young age, Osayabamwen was intrigued by how things work, from the motion of the stars to everyday forces. Physics, with its blend of mathematical precision and conceptual understanding, provided the perfect avenue to explore these questions. Teaching physics enables her to share her passion and foster a love for the physical world in others. Osayabamwen excels at making abstract concepts concrete and engaging. Tanvir is passionate about teaching business studies, driven by a belief in the subject's real-world relevance and impact. As a graduate in international business management, Tanvir has developed expertise in international trade, financial markets, marketing strategies, and management principles, with professional experience at companies like Verizon and British Airways, as well as entrepreneurial ventures. Tanvir aims to equip students with practical skills for success in the competitive business world, whether they plan to become entrepreneurs, join large corporations, or pursue other professional paths. Tanvir's teaching style emphasizes fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity through group projects, case studies, and discussions on current business trends. Tanvir is excited to help shape the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs, inspiring them to think critically and make well-informed decisions.

Passionate about working with people and making a difference, Jack has worked was an ESL tutor, teacher, TA and LSA, working with people of various ages, abilities and temperaments. Following his stint as an ESL school teacher in Vietnam, teaching classes of up to fifty student, Jack wants to pursue a more formal career in teaching the subjects he loves - Philosophy, Religion and ethics or Politics. He has a First Class degree in Philosophy and is able to break down complex concepts for mass consumption. He is patient, empathetic and seeks to motivate his students to be the best they can be, no matter their abilities.

Paul is well-positioned for a career in education, demonstrating a solid foundation in both Physical Education and Geography. His decision to transition into teaching is backed by his significant experience and skills developed over the years. Previously working as a sports coordinator in a school, Paul has a clear understanding of the challenges and unique opportunities that the teaching profession presents. At university, Paul majored in Geography and Human Movement Studies, providing a robust academic foundation for his teaching journey. His diverse working experience equips him with maturity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic, making him a valuable addition to any school environment. His background working with young people in schools and rugby academy settings has honed his ability to teach, coach, and guide students toward adulthood. Paul's experience in managing challenging behaviours and meeting parent demands has prepared him well for the realities of teaching. He is motivated by the opportunity to help shape young people into the best versions of themselves. His current role has further sharpened his time management, administrative skills, and ability to work both autonomously and within a team. Paul's communication skills, whether through writing reports or teaching in a classroom setting, are well-developed and adaptable to various audiences. He is aware that transitioning into teaching will present new challenges but is confident in his resilient character to meet them head-on. Paul is ready to put in the necessary work to familiarize himself with the current Geography syllabus and is open to support to make the transition smoother. Ken's interest in teaching ignited while tutoring children part-time. Witnessing their improvement sparked a desire for a career with purpose. He transitioned from a non-educational job to teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL), starting with CELTA certification. Volunteering at Belong Nottingham, he gained experience before becoming an EFL teacher. Currently teaching adults, Ken aspires to return to his initial path through Grad2Teach training. His recent observation at a primary school reaffirmed his passion for teaching, particularly in key stage 2. Despite challenges, Ken sees education's pivotal role and eagerly anticipates nurturing future generations in a comfortable learning environment.
