About the Role & Grad2Teach Programme
This Graduate Trainee Mathematics Teacher role is part of the Grad2Teach salaried initial teacher training programme, designed to immerse aspiring teachers in real-world classroom experience from day one.
You will:

Begin with a classroom support role, working with pupils across Key Stages 3–5

Progress through a two-phase training structure that supports your development

Earn your PGCE with QTS through our academic partner, Coventry University

Receive a salary while training, with no upfront tuition fees

Benefit from one-to-one mentoring, collaborative learning, and a blended training model mapped to the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework
Phase 1: Support-based experience, including classroom assistance and observation
Phase 2: Independent teaching of up to 18 hours per week, with ongoing academic study and practical assessment

Candidate Requirements
To apply, you must:

Hold a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Mathematics)

Hold (or be working towards) GCSEs in English and Maths (some flexibility may be available during Phase 1)
