About the Role & Grad2Teach Programme
This Graduate Trainee Business Studies Teacher placement is part of the Grad2Teach salaried initial teacher training programme. It allows you to earn a salary while developing your teaching practice in a supportive and dynamic school environment.
With Grad2Teach, you will:

Start in a classroom support role, working with pupils in Business, Economics, and related subjects

Progress through a two-phase training model, gradually increasing your teaching responsibility

Work towards a PGCE with QTS through Coventry University

Earn a salary while training—no tuition fees required

Receive structured mentorship, peer support, and blended training based on the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework
Phase 1: Focused on classroom observation, assisting lesson delivery, and developing key teaching strategies
Phase 2: Take on independent teaching responsibilities (up to 18 hours per week) while completing PGCE coursework

Candidate Requirements
