About Profile
Scarlett is a positive and committed trainee with a long-standing ambition to become a primary teacher. Her passion is grounded in her own formative experiences, shaped by empathetic and inspiring educators. She recently completed a degree in Education at the University of Leeds, where she gained strong insights into the primary curriculum and developed a particular interest in using literature as a tool for engagement and learning.
Her recent roles as an SEN teaching assistant and Sixth Form pastoral assistant have helped her build essential classroom and behavioural management skills, with a focus on supporting individual needs. She brings a calm, reflective approach to challenges and is comfortable supporting children with emotional or behavioural difficulties.
Scarlett is motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. She is developing greater confidence in lesson planning and transitions, and is working on building resilience under pressure. Her natural rapport with pupils and thoughtful manner suggest real potential to grow into an impactful and emotionally intelligent teacher.
