Meet Our Trainees

Nourin is an aspiring Art and Design Teacher with specialist expertise in Photography and Visual Media, currently working as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary setting while preparing for secondary teacher training. She brings strong subject knowledge, international teaching experience, and a clear commitment to inclusive, creative education. Nourin holds a Master of Design in Photography Design and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Art. She previously worked as a Visual Arts Teacher in an international secondary school (ages 11–16), where she planned and delivered lessons across drawing, painting, digital imaging, and design. Her teaching introduced students to a wide range of artists and visual traditions, supporting them to analyse techniques and apply ideas creatively in their own work

Blerina is a Teaching Assistant Level 3 and Cover Supervisor working in a primary SEND school. Since February 2024, she has supported lesson planning and delivery across the curriculum, adapted learning for individual needs, and tracked progress through observation and questioning. She regularly covers classes independently, demonstrating growing confidence in behaviour management, lesson structure, and assessment practice

Alice has eight years of experience teaching Italian across the full primary age range, building strong skills in lesson planning, differentiation, and creating engaging, language-rich environments. Her background in Modern Languages and extensive teaching experience enable her to introduce new vocabulary, grammar, and cultural knowledge in accessible, well-structured ways.

Samara demonstrates strong potential as a primary teacher with a particular passion for the early years. She combines formal qualifications in early childhood and special education with extensive hands-on experience across three education systems—Australia, Ireland, and the UK. Her broad international background has strengthened her adaptability, reflective practice, and confidence in delivering a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of young learners.

Dishal holds a BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology, a Higher Diploma in Biotechnology, and an MSc in Conservation Biology. His academic background has given him a strong grounding in scientific principles, particularly in biology, chemistry, and physics. Over the past two years, he has worked as a Cover Supervisor at Arnold Hill Spencer Academy, delivering pre-planned lessons and providing long-term cover in Science and Maths across KS3 and KS4.

Sogo presents as a reflective and capable trainee with deep subject expertise in Chemistry and a strong record of classroom experience, both in Nigeria and the UK. Since arriving in the UK in 2023, she has been working as a cover teacher across Nottingham and Stoke-on-Trent, gaining valuable insight into UK classrooms and behaviour systems. He brings broad experience teaching Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, with particular strengths in practical, experiment-based learning and linking science to real-world applications.

Stephanie has over seven years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including five years as a Learning Support Assistant at Dysart School and more recent SEN nannying roles. She has strong experience supporting children with additional needs, using tools such as Makaton, PECS, and visual timetables to adapt communication and make learning accessible. Her strengths include classroom management, setting clear boundaries, and using creativity to engage pupils. She is adaptable, reflective, and confident in using positive reinforcement to support behaviour. She draws on her drama background to bring imagination and energy into lessons, helping children build confidence and develop communication skills.

Adrian brings a strong foundation in fine art, design, and creative education, supported by a BA in Fine and Applied Arts and a Master’s in Graphic Design and Branding. Her teaching experience spans secondary school art roles in both the UK and overseas, as well as extensive cover supervision across primary and secondary settings. She has worked in art galleries, facilitated workshops, and delivered design lessons that blend practical skills with creative thinking.
