About the Role & Grad2Teach Programme
This Graduate Trainee Primary Teacher position forms part of the Grad2Teach salaried initial teacher training programme. You’ll gain practical teaching experience from day one while working towards your PGCE with QTS, supported by expert mentors and high-quality academic study.
With Grad2Teach, you will:

Begin as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting classroom teaching and pupil progress

Transition through our two-phase training model, gradually increasing responsibility

Complete a PGCE with QTS, awarded by Coventry University

Earn a salary while training—avoid tuition fee debt

Receive regular mentoring, coaching, and access to a blended training programme aligned to the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework
Phase 1: Learn the foundations of teaching through classroom support and observation
Phase 2: Teach independently for up to 18 hours per week while completing your PGCE
This route is ideal for motivated graduates who want to learn through hands-on experience in a school-based setting.
Candidate Requirements

Hold a UK bachelor’s degree in any subject
