About the Role & Grad2Teach Programme
This Graduate Trainee Primary Teacher role is offered through the Grad2Teach salaried initial teacher training programme, which combines paid in-school experience with high-quality academic training towards your PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status.
With Grad2Teach, you will:

Begin in a Graduate Teaching Assistant role, supporting classroom learning across Early Years and Key Stages 1 and 2

Progress through our two-phase training model to become a confident, independent teacher

Complete a PGCE with QTS, awarded by Coventry University

Earn a salary while training—avoid student debt and gain hands-on experience

Receive high-quality mentoring, peer support, and a blended training model based on the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework
Phase 1: Support-focused, including observations, small-group work, and guided planning
Phase 2: Up to 18 hours of solo teaching per week while completing PGCE requirements

Candidate Requirements
To be considered, you must:

Hold a UK bachelor’s degree (in any subject)
