As a truly multicultural school, it celebrates diversity and works collaboratively to support every student in reaching their potential—both academically and as members of the wider community.

About the Role & Grad2Teach Training Programme

Through the Grad2Teach salaried Initial Teacher Training programme, you will:

  • Gain hands-on experience from day one in a supportive school setting

  • Follow a two-phase structure:

    • Phase 1: Build foundational classroom skills with training outside of your teaching timetable

    • Phase 2: Progress to independent teaching (up to 18 hours per week) as you complete your PGCE

  • Receive a PGCE with QTS, awarded by Coventry University

  • Be mentored by experienced staff and supported throughout your journey

  • Engage in blended training aligned with the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop as a Mathematics teacher while being paid to train.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for future teachers who:

  • Hold a UK undergraduate degree (ideally in Mathematics or a related subject)

  • Have (or are working towards) GCSEs in English and Maths (flexibility offered during Phase 1)

  • Are committed, resilient, and passionate about making a difference through teaching

  • Are seeking a salaried route into initial teacher training and QTS

  • Are reflective, eager to learn, and ready to thrive in a collaborative school environment
