About the Role
This part-time position (3 days per week) is ideal for:

Trainee Teachers: Join the Grad2Teach Initial Teacher Training programme and earn while you train towards your PGCE with QTS.

Qualified Teachers: Teach KS3–KS5 Art (with some DT) in a supportive, high-performing department with opportunities for career development.
If you're applying via Grad2Teach, you’ll benefit from a two-phase training structure:

Phase 1: Classroom-based experience with focused training outside of contact hours

Phase 2: Independent teaching (up to 18 hours per week) while completing your PGCE through Coventry University
All training is aligned with the Teaching Standards and Core Content Framework, with expert in-school mentoring provided throughout.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for applicants who:

Hold a degree (in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject)

Are either qualified to teach or seeking a salaried graduate teacher route

Are creative, resilient, and enthusiastic about working with young people

Hold GCSEs in English and Maths (flexibility available during Phase 1 if training)

Can bring some DT knowledge or a willingness to support the wider creative faculty
