About Grad2Teach

Grad2Teach provides a salaried, school-based teacher training programme that allows you to gain classroom experience from day one. You’ll receive personalised support and expert mentoring while following a structured training pathway that leads to QTS and a PGCE – giving you the qualifications, confidence, and experience to thrive as a Science teacher.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics) across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Creating engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage curiosity and critical thinking.

  • Supporting pupils of all abilities to develop their scientific understanding.

  • Working with experienced educators to refine your teaching practice.

  • Playing an active role in the school community.


Requirements:

To be eligible for this role and the Grad2Teach programme, you must have:

  • A UK undergraduate degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a closely related field).

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in both English and Mathematics.

  • A genuine interest in teaching and inspiring young people.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • A commitment to completing teacher training and progressing towards QTS and PGCE.
