Grad2Teach is offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Primary Teacher with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 in a welcoming and supportive primary school in Norwich or the wider Norfolk area.
This salaried role provides a structured route to achieving Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) — all while gaining valuable classroom experience from day one.

About Grad2Teach
Grad2Teach offers a salaried, school-based training programme that allows you to earn while you train. You’ll follow a structured training pathway, working towards QTS and PGCE, with personalised mentoring and ongoing professional development to help you thrive in the classroom.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting and leading learning in EYFS and Key Stage 1 classrooms.

Creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children aged 3–7.

Using play-based and structured learning to develop early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Developing your teaching practice with the support of experienced mentors.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role and the Grad2Teach programme, you must have:

A UK undergraduate degree (in any subject).

GCSE Grade C/4 or above in both English and Mathematics.

A passion for working with young children and supporting their early development.

Patience, creativity, and excellent communication skills.

A genuine commitment to becoming an outstanding teacher.
