About Grad2Teach

Grad2Teach is a salaried, in-school teacher training programme that allows you to gain hands-on classroom experience from day one. You’ll receive expert mentoring and support while following a structured training pathway towards QTS and a PGCE, preparing you to become a fully qualified teacher with the confidence and skills to succeed.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Teaching Food Preparation, Nutrition, and practical cookery to secondary students.

  • Inspiring pupils to develop essential life skills in health, nutrition, and cooking.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this role and to train with Grad2Teach, you must have:

  • A UK undergraduate degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Hospitality, or a related subject.

  • GCSE Grade C/4 or above in both English and Mathematics.

  • A passion for education and working with young people.

  • Strong practical skills, creativity, and enthusiasm for food and teaching.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
