About Grad2Teach
Grad2Teach offers a salaried, school-based teacher training route, allowing you to gain classroom experience while working towards your QTS and PGCE. From day one, you’ll receive support and guidance from experienced educators, following a structured training programme that equips you with the skills and qualifications you need for a successful teaching career.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Teaching Design and Technology to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5 depending on experience).

Planning engaging lessons that explore areas such as product design, resistant materials, food, textiles, and systems & control.

Helping students to develop their creativity, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills.

Working closely with mentors to refine your teaching practice and classroom management.

Playing an active role in the life of the school and its wider community.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role and the Grad2Teach programme, you must have:

A UK undergraduate degree, preferrably in a relevant subject (e.g. Product Design, Engineering, Architecture, Textiles, Food Technology, etc).

GCSE Grade C/4 or above in both English and Mathematics.

A genuine interest in education and design & technology.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A commitment to training and becoming a qualified D&T teacher.
